Her Car

Jadyn is pretty much obsessed with this car!

She can spot them blocks away. We play slug bug every time we are in the car and she usually wins!

A photo with her standing by the car is a must, if possible.

Someday I may be brave enough to ask a stranger if she can try out the drivers seat!

Yes, she's only 5 and has picked out her future car!

We're Expecting!!

A new puppy!

Meet Ben aka Benjamin
Our new black lab.
We went to meet him yesterday.
He's 3 weeks old, born August 26, 2012. He's the sweetest cuddlier.

We will be bringing him home October 13. The kids are so excited.

Bus

Your know your five yr. old is ready for school when she tells you at the bus stop "mom don't come to the bus today after school, I want to come home and ring the door bell like a big kid"

 

school is hard work, but a nap at dinner time is not such a good idea.

Jadyn was so excited! So was I, for her that is.
She is our last and this is the 5th time I have gone through this, so there were no tears.
Just happy hugs. She loves school and her teacher!

Boat Races

We had another great time this year out on the river with friends watching the hydro boat races.

Jadyn was too busy to have her picture taken!

Loving Summer

She could swing for hours. Once she learned to pump this is all the park is about!

Day trip

Palouse Falls! What a beautiful water fall. It's in the desert. As we were driving, getting closer and closer to the falls I kept thinking there are no mountain or hills this is going to be lame. But was I wrong. You actually come in on top, the falls are in a big rocky canyon. They were carved hundreds of years ago by a large flood.

You can hike to the bottom, but we were all wearing flip flops. Not the right thing to wear with the steep decline.

We plan to go back before summer is over and hike to the bottom.

Jadyn prefers to be carried, not fun when it's. 90 and she is a sweaty 38 lbs.

Happy 4th

Bowling!

We took Jadyn bowling for the first time, she's hooked. She loved it. I would call her a "roller" not a bowler, but you've got to start someplace!
6lb. ball and gutters, she's ready to go!

She even got a spare!

A visit to her Cardiologist.....

With perfect results! Her heart looks great, her oxygen saturation is 98%.

She is trying to remove the EKG stickers, her least favorite part of seeing the doctor.

we will return to see him in 6 months.

Beauty in a sleepy face

I just love her lips! I tell her she is lucky because some ladies pay to have lips like hers. She's laughs, having no idea what I'm talking about!
