Seven Years Old!

Jadyn celebrated her birthday at one of her favorite places, Polka Dot Pottery. You get to paint a piece of pottery and then its fired and you get it back in a week. The girls had a great time painting their choice of  dog or cat.
Jadyn had 10 friends come, it was a fun time.

Good-bye teeth

Her teeth have been falling out, a total of 6 now. I knew I would be a little sad, and I am!
She has/ had the prettiest little teeth.
I'm sure her new ones will be just as nice!

Happy Chinese New Year

2014 The year of the Horse!

We had a busy weekend celebrating. Friday evening we went to a local Chinese restaurant where families who have adopted from China met to have dinner. There was also a Chinese lantern send-off, but it was so cold we didn't attend.

Saturday Jadyn was in a  program with her Chinese language school, They preformed for the Chinese/American society.

Yes, she's the only one in purple.  I loved the color.

I was informed it is not really a horse, it's a unicorn.
But she loved her anyway.

She had a Merry Christmas!

Jadyn was on Santas good list again.

We spent Christmas in Portland with family. Love waking up to excited little ones.

She got her long awaited Furby Boom, it does not have a off button!  But, it is pretty amusing.

Thankful Feast

All 1st grade classes at Jadyn's school enjoyed a feast together for Thanksgiving.
Each class was dressed in their handmade costumes.

Jadyn was a Indian with a papoose on her back! They made bracelets to share with their friends across the table, which were Pilgrims

Trick or Treat!

Once again Jadyn loved Halloween, talking about it for days. She chose her costume all on her own this year.

You all may be shocked, no Disney charactors were mentioned this year, I know I was!

She chose to be a Vampire Princess. Just about every house she went to complemented her on her beautiful dress! She would walk back to us and say "they liked my dress too"

She lasted about 90 minutes, got lots of candy and had a great time.

The red tube of lipstick has since been hidden!  I'm sure you can guess why!
