Valentines, Star of the week and Ben

Jadyn loved Valentines day.

The party at school left such an impression we are still hearing about this week.

She enjoys school so much, even the part about learning! ha

This week Jadyn is the Star Student, which means you get to sit in the teachers chair
and tell the class about a favorite stuffed animal you brought to school that day.
 Several pictures of you and your family are put on the wall for the week.
And the best part, according to Jadyn, is getting to have ice cream with the principal!

An update on our puppy, who is almost 6 months old already!

Ben is a wild beast, he's needy, full of energy and love.

Lastly, Celebration #3

Wow, what a busy Chinese festivities filled weekend! We decided to take Jadyn to our local Chinese/American Chapter. There were so many people there we ended up on the balcony. Too far from the stage for her to really enjoy any of the program. We stayed for an hour or so then headed to Dairy Queen for a treat. The program was 90% in Chinese so we sat there pretty lost!

Celebration #2

Our second Chinese New Year celebration was local in our town, a much smaller group. Jadyn enjoyed all the craft projects they had for the kids. Also the yummy Chinese food.

This was our second year attending
"Families with Children from China" (FCC) New Years celebration. We had a great time. Thank you Auntie for coming and also for winning us a discount on our Chinese camp-out later this year!

We have another celebration to attend this Friday!

Tooth Fairy!

With a little help from our Dentist, the Tooth Fairy made her first visit to Jadyn.

She has had 2 loose teeth for a few weeks. I was checking to see how close they were to falling out and noticed her new teeth had broke through the skin behind the loose ones!

Weird, I know. Our dentist took care of the loose ones and before we knew it, the Fairy had come to visit.

Merry Christmas!

Because we live out of town/state from our family, we have multiple "christmas openings". We try to give our kids a normal Christmas at home before we leave town. Which means Santa has to come visit us early!

Jadyn is in love . We see it around town alot.
It happened to be in the mall parking lot today so we jumped out and got a fast picture!

Jadyn and I were home alone tonight, so I decided we should do something "girly".
We decided that would be cookies, yes even out of a tub is making cookies in my book! Ohh they are good! I did make the frosting drizzle by scratch!

Jadyn had fun as you can tell in the pictures! I love when she's weird! A crazy girl who's sporting a black eye today from hitting heads with a friend.

I had a friend who's a professional photographer do them this year instead of the school.

Ben is home...

And lots of work! I would say he's as much work as a newborn baby, without a diaper on!

But boy, he's a little sweet cuddlier. Our first night home was awful, he cried for hours and hates his crate. We got about 4 hours of sleep.

Last night was much better. He was up to potty twice, a little crying and back to sleep in his crate!

He's slowing adjusting to being away from him Mom and 9 siblings.

He is a nipper so Jadyn tries to stay away from him. She's up on the couch out if his reach alot!
