- My husband Ames and I adopted our beautiful little girl from China in August 2009. This site is for our family, friends and fellow adoptive families to follow Jadyn's journey. Jadyn was born with a heart condition called transposition of the great arteries. She had open heart surgery on September 3, 2009. She had her final corrective heart surgery on July 16, 2010.

Who cried on the first day...you or her?! Enjoy your few hours of freedom...get a coffee, pedicure, do some shopping....clean without interruption...stare at the wall! How exciting!
