The birthday girl came home from China the same month as Jadyn did.

Park Fun

Jadyn and I went to a park last week, I think this is the first time she has been to a park.

I don't take my kids to this park in the summer because of this sign. It's posted right at the playground entrance!

Snakes? not just any snakes, but Rattle snakes!
Come to find out the City built this nice park on a rattler den.

I tried to forget the sign and let Jadyn explore, She had fun.

What do I do first?


She climbed


and went down the slide several times


tried it out on her tummy


did a lot of jumping


she even learned to break the rules and walk up the slide!


she had a great time
and no sign of any snakes

I asked Jadyn if she wanted to go with me to pick up her brother from a friends house.

Our Easter

Saturday evening we dyed Easter eggs, Jeron ran the show with Jadyn helping by plopping eggs into the dye. She really enjoyed it except for the smell of the vinegar.

Jeron thoroughly enjoys holidays and Easter is no exception.

She got up Easter morning knowing just what to do. You would have thought she had celebrated this day before. She ran right to her basket!




We had a great day and the kids enjoyed their gifts from the Bunny.
Including our "I'm too big for pictures" 15 year old. who got a new game for his X-box in his basket.
