- My husband Ames and I adopted our beautiful little girl from China in August 2009. This site is for our family, friends and fellow adoptive families to follow Jadyn's journey. Jadyn was born with a heart condition called transposition of the great arteries. She had open heart surgery on September 3, 2009. She had her final corrective heart surgery on July 16, 2010.

Hi Sue! That is some SERIOUS cuteness! I have been following your blog and I am so glad that Jadyn has done so well. She looks happy and healthy and has grown so much! Brody has just finished with the last of his surgeries and has done great--he's grown 4 inches and has put on 10 lbs since we got home!!!!! We are BOTH truly blessed...have a wonderful Holiday season! Monica Mueller (your travel buddy from Kansas City!!!)
